Important Issues
Cheryl Cares about
Public Safety
I will continue to support the cooperation between our law enforcement agencies, the Police and Sheriff offices for the A+ rating they are doing to keep our communities safe in securing the environment for all families.
Cheryl Cares about
Economic Development
Economic development incentives should be used carefully, strategically, and only when they clearly benefit Williamson County taxpayers. I appreciate that our county has historically been selective — authorizing incentives only when warranted, never abating the school portion of property taxes, and never removing existing property from the tax rolls. That disciplined approach should continue.
Cheryl Cares about
Education
I will advocate for the resources our schools, teachers, and students need to succeed, ensuring our children continue to receive the best possible education.
Cheryl Cares about
Community Engagement
Transparency and open communication are central to my approach. I believe in listening to your concerns and working together to find practical solutions that benefit everyone.
Cheryl Cares about
AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Affordable housing means ensuring the people who work here, our teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, and small business employees, can afford to live here without being priced out. By encouraging workforce housing where infrastructure already exists and partnering with groups like Hard Bargain and Good Neighbor Foundation, we can support responsible growth while protecting what makes Williamson County special.
Cheryl Cares about
Strategic Growth
Strategic growth is about protecting what makes Williamson County such a special place to live, work, and raise a family. If we plan strategically and collaboratively with the City Alderman, there is a good chance our growth doesn’t outpace our roads, schools, and public services, while still creating quality jobs and supporting our local small businesses. It’s important that we preserve the character of our communities and making thoughtful decisions today that will benefit the future of our community. I want to be a voice for cultural differences, and balanced growth that reflects the values of the people who call this county home.
